Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what data Nexdge collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding it. We are committed to plain English — if something is unclear, email support@nexdge.com.

Nexdge is operated by Mieux Demain Private Limited, Delhi, India. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act 2018, and the India Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act).

2. Code You Submit

Code you submit for review is never written to any database. It is loaded into an ephemeral compute process, analysed by our AI specialists in memory, and permanently deleted when the review completes. The review result (findings, score, rewrite) is stored under your account so you can access your history. The original submitted code is not.

We do not use your submitted code to train AI models. We do not share it with third parties. It cannot be accessed by our team after the review completes.

3. Account Data

When you create an account, we collect your email address. We use this to authenticate you, send transactional emails (password resets, review completions if enabled), and communicate service updates. We do not use your email for marketing without your explicit consent.

4. Usage Data

We collect anonymised usage data to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. This includes review counts, language distribution, credit usage patterns, and feature engagement. This data does not include your submitted code or review findings in identifiable form.

5. Billing Data

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We receive confirmation of successful payments and your plan status. We do not store payment card numbers. Billing records (transaction amounts, dates, plan tiers) are retained for 7 years as required by applicable financial regulations.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication session management. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or cross-site analytics. Our session cookies expire when you sign out or after 30 days of inactivity.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not run advertising. We share data only with the following service providers who process it on our behalf under data processing agreements:

- Supabase: database and authentication (EU and US servers) - Anthropic: AI processing of submitted code (US) - Lemon Squeezy: payment processing (US) - Resend: transactional email delivery (US) - Sentry: error tracking and monitoring (US)

Each provider is contractually bound to protect your data and use it only to provide their services to us.

8. Data Retention

Review results (findings, scores) are retained for as long as your account is active, so you can access your history. Your account data is retained for 90 days after account deletion, then permanently purged. Billing records are retained for 7 years. Submitted code is never retained beyond the duration of the review.

9. Your Rights

Under GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act, and the India DPDP Act, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and all associated data, object to or restrict certain processing, and receive a portable copy of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@nexdge.com. We will respond within 30 days. You can also delete your account directly from the Settings page in your dashboard, which triggers immediate deletion of your profile and initiates the 90-day data purge cycle.

10. International Transfers

Our service providers are based in the United States and EU. When we transfer data outside India or the EU, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or adequacy decisions where applicable. If you have questions about our transfer mechanisms, contact support@nexdge.com.

11. Children

Nexdge is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If we become aware that a user under 16 has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
